went to trader joe's yesterday and bought some wild alaskan cod fillet pieces for cheap, because they're not whole fillets. fried them with extra virgin olive oil and butter. lo and behold! super tasty simple dish. i daresay i levelled up there. right now, potatoes are in the pot; am making mashed potatoes. also got some bak choy, the closest ( Read more... )

it didn't get much better, printing today was a nightmare. the film place has temporarily misplaced my square format film, but at least i have my 35mm to work with. i went to the dark room to work this afternoon; this afternoon, this beautiful spring afternoon, i was in the dark in the lab in the metal and fluorescent light instead of out there ( Read more... )

so the other day when i was walking across the park to get some lunch, i saw this guy with a cardboard helmet on his head. he was playing the accordion. he was playing the zelda theme song. it made my day.
